D'Landra Wooden Floors is a small, family-run flooring company based right here in Coral Springs - founded by Alex Landra in 2021 on one simple idea: treat every home like it's our own. We supply and install both solid and engineered hardwood from reputable, established brands, and every plank that goes into your home is measured, ordered, and installed by our own hands-on crew.
We don't run a warehouse showroom, and we like it that way. Instead, we bring the showroom to you - a free in-home consultation, real sample boards in your own light, and a written quote left in your hands before we leave. That's our free estimate process, start to finish.
Solid vs. engineered - the right call for a South Florida home
Nearly every home in Coral Springs and the surrounding Broward County communities is built on a concrete slab, and South Florida humidity doesn't take a day off. That combination matters more for hardwood than almost anywhere else, and it's the first thing we walk through during your estimate.

If your project includes a staircase, our hardwood stairs work is done by the same crew on the same schedule, so treads, risers, and trim all match. We also handle new baseboard and trim work as part of the same visit if you'd like it.
Hardwood Flooring - frequently asked questions
Yes - this is most of what we do in Coral Springs and greater South Florida, since most homes here are slab-on-grade. We install engineered hardwood directly over concrete with a proper vapor barrier, and we'll check your slab as part of the free estimate before we ever recommend a product.
Most whole-home installs take 2 to 4 days depending on square footage and whether stairs are part of the project. We'll give you a realistic start-to-finish timeline in writing before work begins.
We install both. Engineered is our most common recommendation because of how well it handles Florida humidity and slab foundations, but solid hardwood is a great fit in the right conditions - we'll tell you honestly which one makes sense for your home, not just what's easiest to sell.
